Volunteers Needed!

Each year, around 20 volunteers to help out organizing the events. Without the help of these warm hearted volunteers, our event would not be successful. Many of these volunteers became officers serving at our organization.

Tsinghua Photos Exhibit

Last year's Tsinghua 95th photo exhibit was a great success! Many alumni knew many developments in our Tsinghua. We will keep this as an tradition, prepare Tsinghua photo show and keep you tuned with Tsinghua recent news. In this exhibit, you could learn what happened to Tsinghua last year, what kinds of achievements have been done by Tsinghua, what are the next moves of Tsinghua, and more. You will share the exciting moment with other Tsinghua alumni.

Tsinghua Alumni Enterprise Show

This is NEW for this year's annual event. We have invited many companies created by Tsinghua alumni to attend our event. They will be there to show their company, to recruit, to find partner, to social, to…. They are: Spreadtrum, Fortniet, Legend Silicon, Analogix Semi, Dage, and many many more. Come and find your classmates in our show...

Donation to Tsinghua Alumni LiXueJin (励学金) Program

Tsinghua alumni LiXueJin program is set up by Tsinghua Alumni Office. The purpose of the scholarship is to support Tsinghua students with very low family income. More detail information could be found in our website: http://www.tsinghua.net/donation.php . So far, we have collected $3,600 for this program! Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network is a non profit organization with 501 (c) (3). All you donations are tax deductible.

2007    Beijing Tsinghua Spring Picnic - a tradition since 1994

The idea of grouping alumni from Beijing Tsinghua in the Silicon Valley can be traced as early as 1994. A small group of Beijing Tsinghua alumni with their friends and family gathered in Baylands Park started the fire that has united the alumni of Beijing Tsinghua University every since. The next year (1995), more than 150 Beijing Tsinghua Alumni and their families showed up at the spring picnic. Witnessed the success of the event, organizers decided to make the spring picnic a tradition for the Tsinghua alumni in the Bay Area. Held every year in late April, around the same time of the anniversary celebration of our Alma Mater, Tsinghua University in Beijing . The spring picnic has since become a tradition for alumni in the Silicon Valley to reunite with friends from the school days and to make connections with new ones. It is a day of sunshine, friendship and delicious food.

"Tsinghua Cup" Volleyball Tournament

 

Seven years ago, at Sunnyvale Baylands Park , in conjunction with Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network (SVTN, tsinghua@yahoogroups.com, www.tsinghua.net) annual reunion picnic, SVTN officers and organizers from Volleyball Fremont started this volleyball tournament. Since then, it becomes an annual event.  Team CNetwork, Stanford Chinese, Tsinghua Network were the Champions in the past 3 years, while team Volleyball Fremont, Beida, Eureka Club, Nankai Alumni Association, Tianda Alumni, Dida etc. teams also won trophies or happily joined the events and had great fun!  In 2005, we have 20 teams joined our tournament. We will have more this year.

For Class 1982, this is the year you have graduated 20 years from Tsinghua. Let's get together and celebrate this important day!

For Class 1992, this is 10 years anniversary of your graduation! Come on, invite your classmates to our event and let's get together!

 Directions: Take I-880, exit on Fremont BLVD. Premier Ballroom is in a mall very close to the exit. Be aware there are two Fremont exits on I-880! Please do not park your car in front of the GoodNight Inn. You can park in all other spaces including McDonald's. 

 

 

Silicon Valley Tsinghua Network (SVTN) is a non-profit organization. If you graduated from Tsinghua University or are interested in Tsinghua, live or work in the US, you are eligible to be our members. The goal of the SVTN is to provide a way for Tsinghua alumni and their friends to renew the old tie in past and to build new relationship for future. It is an organization open to public. It is mission is to help the new comers to settle in the new environment, and help all the members in finding new jobs, learning the cutting edge technologies, bridging the gap among different groups, and help resolving any issues among its members. There is no membership fee, but you are welcome to donate any amount of money to support us..

Management team and this web site as well as the mail list are provided voluntarily by the members in SVTN.
