This event belongs to TCFA CA Advanced Financial Study/Practice Seminar Program (Quarterly) and is the second one in 2009. The venue and facility is kindly sponsored by Barclays Global Investors, one of the world's largest asset managers who prides herself in pioneering change and leading investment innovation. (In order to comply with BGI's security policy, EARLY registration is indeed encouraged !! Walk-in and on-site registrtaion is not accepted in any case.)
Like our first seminar event, ‘Stress Testing and Financial Stability’, we again pay our attention to issues related with the unprecedented financial crisis on banks and the credit market. However, instead of forward-looking severity of this crisis, we start to have in-depth look into the crisis’ implication on some structural components, i.e., credit intermediations. In this talk, Dr. Zhang will examine various forms of credit intermediations, draw lessons from the crisis and in the meantime demonstrate attractive opportunities available for credit investors.
As a thought leader in world’s leading provider of analytic tools that support the credit risk management activities, Dr. Jing Zhang has day-to-day exposure to critical challenges in credit risk field, especially during this particularly unusual regime. His talk will provide each attendee a precious opportunity to learn cutting-edge knowledge and thinking in this area that lead to better solution in both risk control and return optimization.
Finally, as an organization that possesses unparallel access to expertise resources in quantitative credit analysis, through efforts of introducing top-notch researchers and practitioners in credit area, TCFA would like to help build up awareness among its members on the importance of the development of modern credit market and active credit management activities.
We look forward to your attending our event. ( click here to register )
